EV Charger Installation (Home & Small Business)
Faster charging, done right. We evaluate your service panel, perform load calculations, and install the right circuit and equipment for dependable daily charging—without tripping breakers.

Typical Level 2 chargers operate in the 32–48A range (7.7–11.5 kW), providing roughly 25–40 miles of range per hour for many vehicles—actual rates vary by EV and charger.
Certified EV Installer:
O’Connor Electric is certified through the Illinois Commerce Commission and ComEd’s EV Service Provider Program to install EV charging equipment.

- Prefer we handle it? O’Connor Electric can prepare & submit required documents for the permit for an additional $95.00. (This does not include the actual cost of the permit through your village.)
- We complete the installation to code and coordinate inspections as needed.
